We were hired by Chris de Burgh’s team to edit his latest concert DVD, “Footsteps”. The concert in Germany, was filmed in HD by outside broadcast specialists, who provided the nine HD cameras including Jimmy Jib, 30ft Crane and two very expensive and very beautiful OB trucks. One of our cameramen was employed as an additional roving camera to get crowd footage for the main feature and ‘behind the scenes’ footage for the DVD extras.

With so many feeds to work with it was quite a job to edit. The edit involved extensive project management and close collaboration with the Audio mix team to ensure a smooth path through the entire post-production process.

Having seen the DVD authoring work that we had done for other clients, Universal also asked us to design and author the Footsteps DVD.
