Harrow School

Harrow School were recommended our services by their website designer, Interactive Schools, to produce a film about their pastoral care system. The film involved filming interviews with staff, pupils and parents of the top boarding school.

The Pastoral Care film was shot using a special lens to create a very shallow depth of field. This meant that the viewers’ focus is on the interviewees and not on the amazing buildings and architecture of the school.

As well as dealing with the technical aspects of lighting, sound, and filming, an important part of our role was helping the interviewees relax so they come across naturally and confidently on film.

We have since made a series of 16 very short video FAQs about life at the school and we’re also in the process of making a DVD about the importance of scholarships and bursaries, which is being sent out to the school’s alumni to encourage them to contribute towards such schemes.
