Engineering and manufacturing company LH Group chose Definition Media to produce a promotional film, to show the full range of services they offer within their group of companies. Working closely with the LH Group directors it was decided to follow the overhaul of a train raft, and the various complex processes involved. The film needed to be engaging and demonstrate the numerous operations that went into the overhaul. To achieve this goal time-lapse footage was taken of different parts of the process and combined with flowing images to re-enforce the busy nature of the work. We also focused on some of the detailed tasks to show the skilled labour and attention to detail that LH group utilized. Initially the film was just to be shown at a major trade show on a plasma screen, behind one of the train rafts featured in the film. However the LH Group were so pleased with the film we were asked to supply hundreds of copies of the film on DVD so they could give copies to interested customers.
