Marketing and Promotional Films

Terex

Green Square Branding Marketing appointed Definition Media to produce a promotional film for construction vehicle manufacture Terex.

The brief was to produce a film that would create an impact when shown on their stand at a major exhibition. So, we filmed the new backhoe loader in a large studio to capture some stylised and creative images, as well as filming the vehicle going through its passes at the testing ground. By using dramatic music, and combining the bright and clean studio images with the shots of the backhoe at work in the mud, we created a dramatic film that create a buzz about the vehicle.

Coventry Festival of Motoring

We have produced a number of promotional films for the Coventry Transport Museum. We were commissioned to create two short films about the Festival of Motoring, the biggest festival of its kind in Europe, that could be used to promote the event in future years.

The first film was designed to promote the event to the general public, and the second to show potential commercial sponsors. By creating a fast paced edit, cutting dynamically shot footage with visitor interview clips, we were able to deliver two exciting films that capture the excitement and the essence of the festival.

Evanridge Properties

Fuel Marketing selected Definition Media to produce a customer testimonial film for one of their clients, Evanridge Properties LLP. A number of investors in Evanridge’s property portfolio were invited to take part in the film.

As one of Evanridge’s USPs is the accessibility of their company directors, we focused on them chatting with their investors. We filmed in a number of settings, then used these images to tell a compelling story about why people should consider investing with Evanridge Properties LLP.

Willows Dental

Marketing and new media specialists Design BP asked Definition Media to produce a customer testimonial film as part of the new website they were creating for Willows Dental. We filmed a brief introduction from the practice owner, and short testimonials from a number of patients. It was important to find different angles, and interesting setups for the interviewees, so that the film portrayed the friendly nature of the practise.

On top of dealing with the technical aspects of lighting, sound, and filming, an important part of our role on the day was helping the interviewees relax so they come across naturally and confident on film. Although a little nervous at first the patients really enjoyed being in front of camera!

Coventry Transport Museum - Ghost Town Gallery

The museum commissioned us to film the VIP opening of their new permanent exhibition “Ghost Town”, and create a news report about the event. This project required a very quick turnaround so it could be uploaded to the museum’s YouTube channel and publicised via the museum’s social media presence.
