How We Work

Creating your corporate video should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience – and that’s why we’ll work closely with you at every stage of the production process. You can be involved with the project just as much or as little as you like.

While most of our clients benefit from our complete end-to-end solutions, we can also provide tailored services to meet a particular individual need.

To help you understand what’s involved, here’s a brief rundown of the production process.

  • The Brief
    The Brief

Tell us the story you want to tell, and we in turn will try to gain a clear understanding of what you want the film to achieve.
Expect us to ask lots of questions!

  • Treatment
    Treatment

We will take your ideas, add some creativity of our own and prepare a written treatment outlining how we will approach the project, what we’ll film and the time-frames involved.

  • Pre-Production
    Pre-Production

We will organise the filming schedule and make sure every production detail is taken care of.  We will produce a full script that delivers the key messages, engages the viewers and holds their interest throughout the film. We also brief presenters and actors,  arrange locations and book studio time.

  • Filming
    Filming

We have filmed across the UK and Europe at a variety of locations, from museums and motor racing circuits to muddy farms to stately homes. Definition Media uses state-of-the-art camera, sound and lighting equipment to deliver the best possible results.

  • Post Production

This is when the film is edited, with music and graphics added and the full sound mix compiled. It will then be uploaded to a personal and secure area of our website for you to review. Based on your feedback, the final cut will be produced.
